Last night Mike got home early and so we had dinner, walked to Baskin Robbins, and sat ourselves down in front of our TV and watched the 25 hour countdown to COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! We caught it just in time to watch the West Coast overview. Which, I must admit got me a little nervous because half the teams they mentioned to maybe win it all came out of the Pac-10, our conference. They did a nice little blurb on Stanford, and Coach Harbaugh did a great job. His last statement was, "We are fighting for our football lives." Really, we are!
Mikes dad is a head football coach at UNLV and TODAY they are in Utah going agaist Utah State. It has been a hard couple of years for the Rebs, but Mike and I both think this is going to be a winning year. Mike could hardly sleep last night in antcipation for his dad's game. He told me he was being reminded of what it like to be a coaches kid again.
Its a great day!!
